Welcome to Turner Animal Hospital

Welcome to Turner Animal Hospital! As an independently owned clinic led by Dr. Eric McConkey, Kansas City isn’t just where we work—it’s our home. We are proud to care for pets and the people who love them throughout Turner, Argentine, Shawnee, Merriam, and the greater KC area.

When you walk through our doors, your pet isn’t just a chart number; they’re family. Dr. McConkey and our devoted team pair modern medical care with the gentle patience, honest communication, and genuine warmth we’d want for our own pets. Being an independent, doctor-owned practice means every recommendation and treatment plan is tailored personally to your pet’s unique needs, right here in the exam room.

Whether it’s a puppy or kitten’s first checkup, routine preventive wellness, dentistry, surgery, or diagnostic care, we are here to be your trusted partners through every milestone and stage of life. We believe in taking the time to listen, answer your questions, and work hand-in-hand with you to keep your furry companions happy and thriving.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your pets into our extended family. Give our team a call or stop by to say hello—let’s take great care of your pet together!
